Dive into Dreams

I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! (Psalm 139:14)

How often do you feel unimportant, invaluable, or like God could do what you feel called to do without you? Well, you are marvelously breathtaking to God. Who you are is so important to Him, and only you can bring what God has put inside of you, not anyone else. As believers, is it possible that we have believed that we shouldn’t be interested in who we are? Is it possible that we believe that the desires of our heart aren’t good things God wants us to pursue?

I think we are meant to co-create life with Christ. According to the Bible, we are to co-labor with Him. We are co-crucified, co-buried and co-risen in Christ. These are all understandings from the Pauline Letters. We are meant to be in union with Christ in perfect mutuality. Fully who God made us to be and fully in step with Christ. There is not a diminishing of our identity any longer, and on this side of the cross, we are meant to dive into the deep dreams and desires of our renewed heart with Christ and watch the will of God manifest as a result.

He made you so mysteriously complex, and I think His will for you is to demystify who He created you to be and live it out. Value what giftings and dreams you have, because you are a renewed soul through Christ. You are an important part of the body of Christ, and we can’t see your unique part of God without you showing up and valuing your dreams and desires. We need you to fully show up!
